Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the past decade as I approach a new one, which is both daunting and exciting. A lot has happened over the last 10 years but the best thing that I love to look back on is the music. From the trends, the superstars, one-hit wonders, greatest albums, it’s so fun to walk down musical memory lane and reminisce where you were in life. As I write this, I’m listening to a random Spotify playlist and “Hotel Room Service” by Pitbull is playing. This makes me laugh because Pitbull is an example of someone who dominated the charts in this era.

But what and era it was! And I’m just dying to talk about it!

‘Music of my twenties’ will be a 10-part series, each post about one year between 2009-2018. It is 100% my reflection so it will showcase the music the I listened to and basically, my memories. I hope it triggers great memories and feelings of your own.
